HATS FOR HAITI DAY
Quite a number of children have asked about raising funds for the disaster in Haiti. After consultation with the school council who suggested a number of ideas, it was decided to have a ‘Hats for Haiti Day’ in conjunction with non-uniform day.
This will take place on Wednesday 3rd February. Children may come in non-uniform wearing a hat. We know many of our children are very creative and may want to make their own hats. All contributions will be greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance for your generosity.

Many thanks

May I thank my team on behalf of the children for all their hard work this term, and yourselves for your continued support.
Have a wonderful Christmas.

MR STOTT
Following several months of absence from school due to ill health, Mr Stott has decided to leave St Andrew’s. On behalf of everyone involved with St Andrew’s past and present, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Stott for his loyal service to our school and wish him well for the future. Mr Stott has indicated that he would not wish his leaving to be a formal occasion. Governors, Staff, Parents and pupils may therefore make a contribution to school next term after the Christmas break when a suitable and fitting gift will be purchased.
In order that the management structure of St Andrew’s continues effectively, Governors will be actively seeking a replacement for Mr Stott next term, but in the meantime Miss Taylor will continue in her role as acting deputy head.
(Neil Stothers, Chair of the Governing Body)
CHRISTMAS COLLECTIONS
We raised £280.00 from our Christmas collections during the KS1 and KS2 performances. Your donations will be shared between the Diabetic Association and the Neo Natal unit at Wigan Infirmary. Many thanks for your support.
