LATENESS

The majority of children arrive at school on time for registration at 8.55am.  However, we have a small band of persistent latecomers.  Please support your child by ensuring they arrive before registration closes at 9.00am.  Most children who arrive late and have missed the first part of a lesson sometimes become quite upset.  Thank you for your co-operation.

MR STOTT

Following several months of absence from school due to ill health, Mr Stott has decided to leave St Andrew’s.  On behalf of everyone involved with St Andrew’s past and present, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Stott for his loyal service to our school and wish him well for the future.  Mr Stott has indicated that he would not wish his leaving to be a formal occasion.  Governors, Staff, Parents and pupils may therefore make a contribution to school next term after the Christmas break when a suitable and fitting gift will be purchased.

In order that the management structure of St Andrew’s continues effectively, Governors will be actively seeking a replacement for Mr Stott next term, but in the meantime Miss Taylor will continue in her role as acting deputy head.
